Cerebral Palsy Annual Walk

CPSK ANNUAL WALK

Cerebral Palsy is a condition caused by abnormal brain development or damage to the developing brain before, during or after birth. It affects a person’s ability to control his or her muscles. This condition ranges from mild to severe. Cerebral Palsy can impair communication, hearing, mobility and posture.

In an effort to advocate for inclusion of persons with CP, the National Fund for the Disabled of Kenya partners with Cerebral Palsy Society of Kenya to raise awareness and funds towards programs that will benefit persons with CP. We raise awareness in the month of March and participate in the Walk which happens in the month of June every year. This year the fundraising walk is on 29th of June 2019 and will be flagged off at the Nyayo National Stadium at 8:00am.
